Darka Dusty is a life-long musician and singer living in Portland, Oregon. A powerful and versatile vocalist, Darka likes to genre-hop from blues to jazz to country, as well as celebrate big-voiced "primitive" folkloric music stemming from her Ukrainian roots. The Borshch Beatniks include Darka's British-Ukrainian partner-in-time, Miri Stebivka, as well as a rotating cast of wildly-talented Portland musicians: Together they perform a unique variety of originals, Eastern-European melodies, and other unexpected, accordion-led tunes. When it comes to tasty, eclectic fun, this band can't be beet.
